On 14th June 2018 the German Business Association held a Joint Networking Breakfast together with the British and French Chambers of Commerce at Sankara Hotel Nairobi.The Networking Breakfast which was organized in cooperation with the Kenya Association of Manufacturers focussed on the BIG 4 Agenda – Challenges and Opportunities for Industries in Kenya.
The chief guest speaker was Ms. Flora Mutai, Chairperson of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers. There was also a panel discussion with four major stakeholders on the Challenges and Opportunities for Industries in Kenya.
The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Kenya (AHK) will host the second “Trained in GermanY” Career Fair on June 21st 2018 at the Mövenpick Hotel & Residences in Nairobi. The fair whose theme is “The Future of Work” is being implemented on behalf of Alumniportal Deutschland with support from the German Business Association.Its aim is to create a platform where qualified professionals who studied, worked, conducted research or received training in Germany can have an opportunity to interact with the leading companies in Kenya.
The fair will have a dedicated exhibition space where companies will be invited to interact with Germany alumni by sharing general career advice and information about employment opportunities in their respective industries.
